31 Days of Horror Movies
Last year…
For the month of October I (poorly) drew scenes from horror movies that scared me, shocked me, or stuck with me from childhood or beyond.
This was relegated to Instagram, but this year I’m sharing as many platforms as possible….mostly because the other list I did was horror books on my Twitter account and I forgot to make that list and seeing as how it’s October…yeah, just gonna do the movie one.
Anybut, the next post will be the first (poorly) drawn scene.
These will be in no particular order or rank. Also, there will be a few movies that aren’t technically horror movies, but that doesn’t mean they didn’t have scarring scenes.

But seriously, the veneer is in, I can smile fully again…and I don’t have to go back to the dentist for 6 months (except to pick up my night guard but that’s just a pop in and pick up).

Stephen King Dish Thing
If you haven’t heard…
There’s a contest Dish Network is throwing where a “lucky fan” will get the opportunity to watch 13 Stephen King films based off his novels for Halloween and get paid $1,300.
Of course, it isn’t JUST watching the movies. You have to blog about it and other things.
BUT JOKE’S ON THEM!!!

Tomorrow is the Day
I go back to the dentist tomorrow…
It’s time to get my new tooth. The chipped tooth which has become a baby tooth will soon grow up into a brand new adult tooth…
Hopefully. Who knows. I may go in and the tooth won’t fit. But I’m positive it will. Then after that I get a mold of my brand new set of teeth so I can get a night guard to protect my teeth from grinding while I sleep.
Anybut, once that’s all done…..I GET ICE CREAM!!! YAY!!! I’ve been waiting for WEEKS to eat ice cream again!!

The spider…
The spider from the worst night ever (shameless post plug) has made a return appearance.
AND I MISSED IT WITH MY SHOE!!!!

We escaped!!!!!
We survived the escape room!
The time limit was 1 hour. We had 23 minutes left on the clock, so not too bad. Especially since out of the 4 of us, 3 were escape room virgins.
The clues were pretty straight forward, although I didn’t appreciate the sudden introduction of math in order to solve one of the “spells” but it wasn’t impossible, just tedious.
Did my predictions come true?
- The 2 super fans will overthink the clues. Yes and no. There was some overthinking with books in the room that had ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with any clues except for ONE book that was actually a lock box. But also, some things clicked quickly.
- I’m going to be too distracted by everything in the room to actually solve the clues. Yes. This absolutely happened. I can only imagine what it looked like to see 3 people gathering around one clue while one random girl walked around the room, poking and prodding the pictures, the drawers, and the cushion on the chair.
- We WILL escape and it’s gonna be a BLAST!! Also-fucking-lutely! It was tons of fun and we had an amazing time! The only thing I can say is I wish it had been an escape room with multiple rooms so we could’ve done it for a longer period of time.
Anybut, it was a fun experience and I can’t wait to do the next one!

This is part 1….
Today I will be going to my first Escape Room. This has been a long time coming. I’ve wanted to do one for awhile, but never had anyone to go with.
It’s going to be Harry Potter Themed so that’s fun. I’m also going with two of the biggest HP fans I know…which is also fun.
MY PREDICTIONS!!!
- The 2 super fans will overthink the clues. Those of us not as obsessed will provide clarity, ie. keep them on the path. However, they will still be the keys to solving and escaping the room.
- I’m going to be too distracted by everything in the room to actually solve the clues.
- We WILL escape and it’s gonna be a BLAST!!
I will update tomorrow (mainly because the escape room isn’t until 8pm so I don’t have much else to talk about until tomorrow).

I’M BACK BABY!!!
I warned you all there wasn’t a set release schedule.
Did I say it just to keep myself from having to commit? Yes. But work is coming and I’ll need some place to keep myself out of trouble. So here is a commitment:
From now until my next show has closed, I will post something EVERY DAY! (To actually put a date on this: From June 17th to August 31st)
I see you all with the doubt in your eyes!!! But know this! Because it will be daily…sometimes the posts may only be a sentence long, may be a short story from my childhood, or may only be a photo. And if I’m in a really good mood, maybe I’ll post more than once in a day (no promises, though). It’ll be interesting to see and interesting for me to keep to the schedule.
“Does this post count as the first day’s post?” Yes………No! It’s not cheating.
Does this challenge make up for the long hiatus I was on? No. But I once read somewhere that in order to make something into a habit you have to repeat it for three weeks. So here we go!
